About John Kidd

Active with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, John Kidd, MD, provides locus tenens coverage at several ambulatory surgery centers and endoscopy sites across the New York City metro area. Previously based in Saranac Lake, John Kidd, MD, spent seven years performing anesthesia on patients at the Adirondack Medical Center.

Dr. Kidd also has a dozen years of practice experience at the Theda Clark Medical Center, a Neenah, Wisconsin, institution that provides Level II trauma care, as well as neurosurgery and bariatric surgery procedures. Among his areas of in-depth knowledge is ultrasound guided regional anesthesia and he worked at a hospital with a neonatal intensive care unit.

Dr. Kidd is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Medical School and earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry cum laude at Bowdoin College. Among his interests are skiing, hiking, and camping, and he also attends athletics events when he has the chance. With a passion for the fine arts, John Kidd, MD, is an avid reader who seeks out thrillers and works of historical nonfiction.
